Terms & Conditions of On Point Property Services
On Point Property Services in Reading reserves the right to make changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without notice.
By orderingOn Point Property Services in Reading via telephone, e-mail, or website the client is agreeing to be bound by D.P Cleaning and Property Maintenance in Reading Terms and Conditions of Service.
The Client must allow the cleaner access to hot water and electricity.
All fragile and breakable items must be secured or removed.
The Client is assumed to accept these Terms and Conditions unless he/she contacts the Company before the cleaning session has started. No alteration to the Terms and Conditions is valid without Company signed authorization.
In these Terms and Conditions :
“Company” – On Point Property Services
"Housework”- On Point Property Services including oven and domestic appliances cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, interior windows cleaning.
"Regular Customer” - means a customer who has booked a minimum of 3 cleans.
“One Off Customer” - means a customer who has booked between one and two cleans.
“Booking” means customer request for use one of company services on one particular occasion.
All bookings for company services are made on there Terms and Conditions only to the exclusion of any other Terms and Conditions , whether written or oral. When booking a cleaning service, the Client is obliged to provide details of name, address, telephone, e-mail address and the payment details over the phone. As soon as this information has been submitted the Client will be sent an e-mail or text message by mobile phone confirmation no later than one working day before the cleaning session in respect of the Company’s Terms and Conditions.
3. Pricing and payment methods
a. All prices are subject to change anytime, existing customers will be given 1 month notice of any price changes. If the conditions in the Client's home change (i.e., a new pet or additional household members), it may be necessary to revise the service charge.
Housework regular clean and one off clean customers may pay by bank transfer or cash, checks will not be accepted.
b. Minimum charges
Regular clean – £ 30.00
One off clean domestic– £ 65.00
One off clean commercial -£120.00
Payments must be made to company on completion of the service.
4. Cancellation/ non deliver of service
a. Customer cancellation/ non attendance
All cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged 100% fee, for cancellations between 24 hours and 48 hours notice, 50% fee will be charged. If the company is unable to gain the access to the property as a result of customer failure to make reasonable arrangements for access , the company will charge the full cancellation fee
b. Company cancellation/ Non attendance
The company will not be liable for any delay to or cancellation of the service caused by circumstances beyond the company control (traffic circumstances, lack of power or breakage or failure of machinery, flood ,strike) In such circumstances the company will arrange an alternative time suitable to both parties for delivery of its services.
If the company fails to carry out an agreed service due to circumstances in company control , the company liability shall be limited to providing the agreed service at no extra charge at mutually convenient alternative time and in no event the company shall be liable for any ither losses including loss of profit or consequential loss
5. Working conditions
In order to protect our employees, they are instructed not to enter any premises they consider to be dangerous to health, unsafe or inoperable for any reason.The company employees are instructed to withdraw from the premises and report the issue. In this case the customer will be charged 100% of booking cost. The housework can be rescheduled (once the premises are safe) the customer will be charged 50% of the original booking cost.
On Point Property Services is insured by full public and employer's liability cover. The cleaners have full public liability insurance.
The Company will not be held liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard, if other people/third parties are present in the property whilst The Service is in progress.(end of tenancy cleaning)
a. The Company will not be liable for:
Ingrained dirt that cannot be cleaned using standard chemicals
Wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
Old stains, existing damage or spillage that cannot be removed using normal cleaning methods.
existing damage of any of the house equipment
Accidental damage worth £250.00 or less.
Triggering any alarm systems. The Client should provide instructions for handling any alarm systems.
b. Key holding
The company undertakes extremely high security for your keys at all times. In the unlikely event of any key loss the company will make appropriate arrangements as soon as reasonably possible. The company will no be responsible for any loss or damages as a result caused by client delay.
The client is recommended to check the quality of the cleaning work carried out immediately after completion of the work.
In the event that the client is not satisfied with the standard of work, he/she should contact the company not more that 24 hours after the completion of the service. Unless a good reason is given for the late notification of any complaint, the company will not consider any complaints which are notified after such period of 24 hours.
The client will allow the company to send a cleaner/contractor back to the client’s property to complete the work to the client’s satisfaction. The company will not refund any payment or give a discount if it is not permitted to return to the client’s property to complete the job.
On Point Property Services will provide all cleaning material and equipment on request. Please note that this may be subject to a surcharge.
9. End of Tenancy Cleaning
The standard end of tenancy cleaning service does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior windows, carpets (unless agreed), washing, laundry emptying and putting items back in cupboards/wardrobes/drawers, emptying, cleaning and putting back books on bookshelves. All of the above-mentioned services, excluding ceiling cleaning, are available at an extra charge. The property must be vacated. If the property is occupied whilst The Service is in progress or after the cleaning the client loose right to complaint about the job quality.
On Point Property Services will not be responsible for failing to remove old permanent stains that cannot be removed using normal carpet cleaning methods. Existing damage will be reported prior to commencing work.
11. Jet washing - Pressure Cleaning - Steam Cleaning
On Point Property Services will not be responsible for failing to remove permanent stains,mortar,cement,paint if our high pressure machinery and strong acids used prior wash can't help.
On-Street parking is the responsibility of the Client. This should involve the provision of Temporary Parking Permits in restricted zones. Any parking fine that results in a notice charge is the responsibility of the Client.

Invoices shall be paid within 2 days after cleaning is completed Acceptable methods of payment are cash or bank transfer. Checks will not be accepted.
All delayed payments will be charged of £90.00 compensation fees for each invoice. T&C Apply
